Our new EP “Off The Lanterns” is out in digital format! A bridge between the past and the future.
We consider this EP consisting of 4 compositions of our own, as a bridge between the past and the future. The song that gives the album its name was written in October 2020 during the pandemic and recorded live during the “Live in Studio: 10/19/2024” album phase. We are releasing this latest version for the first time, rearranged with piano touches.
The next three tracks are very special for us. They are our very first compositions from early 2012-2013 era. All three compositions are plain country songs supported by pedal steel. “Empty House” has a tendency to express that the destruction left behind from great efforts and the feeling of emptiness that emerges is actually a fullness. It is in the context of the classic Nashville sound of the 60s. “I Do Worry”, a half-romantic, half-rebellious scream, questions the temporality of the value and sacrifice dimension. “Last Share” takes you to the clusters of lights that appear in the distance in the late hours of the night with its metaphorical narrative. Anxiety and acceptance about human relationships are breaking the given time-space perception.
With this mini album, we are going from today’s ground to the past and as we mentioned, we are building a bridge towards the future by coming back from the past. Hoping to see you in the next stage where the bridge will be connected.
